Any tips for painting Impressionism? I love painting in this style and am looking to improve.
Hi Sarah! I have learned so much from copying paintings I like. You think you know it by looking at it, but when you actually TRY it yourself, you learn 100 times more. There are tons of impressionistic paintings online to choose from. Just don’t sell the copies. : ) Hope that helps. -Carol

You already got great advice about copying. The other thing you might like to do is to go out into nature the impressionists painted in the open, they wanted to paint light, and you may well find your own style doing that.
