My art works are beginning to pile up and I’m a litlle frustrated by lack of sales recently. I always list my works with a direct paypal link but am wondering if changing some of those older pieces over to an auction might generate some interest? Yes, I’d be willing to let them go for a lower price. I am guessing this is possible to do. Has anyone done this? Any advice will be most welcome.
You can put a piece up for auction any time. In my experience, auctions that are not concurrent with a painting’s first posting do not get as much traffic as those initially posted as auctions. That’s the main reason I don’t re-list, though I have things sell after being relisted several times.
