Many photographers do this through their website, have you thought about creating your own website? Oh, I think you will definitely like this set of cool tips http://weedit.photos/2017/iphone-photography-tips-and-tricks/
I recommend Balthasart.com
Artfinder takes too much money.
Terrible experience with Artfinder.
- My account has been closed two times. (I have 267 works published in it - which is a lot of work)
- As an artist I got 0-2 views a day.
- They have taken my payment for the subscription and suspended my account.
- All free shipping offers, and 10-15% discounts are taken from the artistās profit. So you basically pay the artist only 35% of the whole amount. The rest of the customersā money goes to Artfinder.
I was trying to apply to artfinder - sent them all docs they asked for. But they rejected them, bc of their technical issues they canāt see all details - whoās are those issues?
So Iām glad I didnāt get into
Does anyone know who Jason Andrana is? He or she claims to be a dealer on this site but Iām trying to verify her claim.
When you say ādealerā, do you mean artist?
If so, we donāt have an artist with that last name.
I have not sold anything on artfinder. I have been there for a year now. My paintings cost from 1500 - 8000 eur. But on artfinder mostly only cheap works are sold for 80-300 eur :)
I tried selling on Artfinder a while back and honestly, it wasnāt a great experience. The onboarding process was slow, and after finally getting approved, it felt like a ghost town in terms of traffic and engagement. Their fees were also higher than expected once you factored in promotions and discounts they āencourageā you to use. Worst part? Customer support was pretty unresponsive when I had an issue with a failed payout. I ended up closing my shop and moving to other platforms that actually support their artists better. Just my two centsāmaybe it works for some, but it didnāt for me.
