I enjoy painting landscapes and still life whether it's a Plein Air of our beautiful landscapes, lakes and rivers or a still life of antiques and found things from walks in the Forest.
I strive to create mood and drama by means of Color and the effects of light, bringing a sense of peace or a past memory to the viewer. My goal is to show with every painting the beauty around me in the common everyday things in life. So I'm always looking for that special moment, to paint that magic and feel that connection of the paint and the subject as I paint. I'm so fortunate to be making a living doing what I love.
