I am a self-taught artist having studied all the European and American impressionists as impressionism is my favorite painting style and was encouraged by my mother who was a professional artist having studied in Paris early on. I work in both oil and watercolor and paint each equally. My style is a combination of impressionism and realism and once in awhile throw in a little abstract, particularly in my watercolor paintings.
