If you are scanning your work for possible Giclee or other reproductions, do you sign the original before scanning or afterwards?
Debbie, sign the original! You want your signature showing on the print to establish that it’s by you but also as proof in case someone wants to make illegal prints of your work for selling. Does happen all too often. So sign!

Always sign the original first, typically with giclees you would then sign again (front or back) and sometimes include the edition number, e.g. 1/50, etc.
